Have your Young Living Essential Oil and wondering, how to use them? The following information should be helpful as you begin using your new essential oils! Spring is a great time to cleanse, lighten up and let go of what no longer serves. Even though every year I do an annual spring cleanse, if you are like me, some times it can be difficult to get started. This year, instead of jumping right in, I have allowed myself a pre-cleanse period of time, slowly eliminating foods, beverages and of course old clothes and other objects in my home, that I know no longer serve me or my highest potential for wellness and vitality.
It’s hard to believe, but for over 24 years I have been a bodywork therapist and energy healer. It is true, time flies when you are having fun! In the course of my private practice, I have always had the attitude of being a perpetual student, immersing myself natural medicine, nutrition, fitness, yoga and of course aromatherapy. Since my competitive martial arts days, I have always had a love for eastern healing arts practices like Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Chinese medicine. Though the primary modality I practice is Polarity and Cranial Sacral Therapy, about four years ago I became a Reiki master and I utilize Reiki every day.
Reiki is an ancient healing energy technique that is easy to learn and very practical in it’s applications. This type of energy healing is wonderful when combined with aromatherapy. What I love about Reiki is that when every I practice it on myself and others, I feel calmer and more open to what is present. The more I practice Reiki, the stronger I become at all of the other modalities I practice.
